A Look Inside The Ball Machine
As A Drawing Takes Place

The mock drawing below will show you how the odds are played out in the ball machine as the drawing takes place. You will see, first hand, why the odds are so much against an all odd or all even type of number combination being drawn.

For demonstration purposes, we will be using a 6 of 49 game. A 6 of 49 game has 25 odd numbered balls and 24 even numbered balls in the ball machine.

INSIDE THE BALL MACHINE
Before the first ball is drawn:

There are:
25 Odd and 24 Even Balls
There are two groups of balls. The ODD group and the EVEN group. Which group has the best chance of having a ball drawn? Though it appears insignificant, the odds favor the ODD group because there is one extra odd ball. However, we'll go against the odds and draw an even number.
After the first ball is drawn:

There are now:
25 Odd and 23 Even Balls
Now, odd numbers are favored by not one, but two. We'll it's early yet. We'll play against the odds again and draw another even number. We don't usually get this much time to analyze things during a drawing.
After the second ball is drawn:

There are now:
25 Odd and 22 Even Balls
Now, there are three more odd numbers than even numbers. We won't get too excited. The drawing's not over yet. However, the odds are starting to mount up against even numbers. Even though, we'll still allow another even number to be drawn.
After the third ball is drawn:

There are now:
25 Odd and 21 Even Balls
Now, there are four more odd numbers than even numbers. Now, we can get just a little concerned. Lo and behold, another even number was drawn!
After the fourth ball is drawn:

There are now:
25 Odd and 20 Even Balls
We've been playing against the odds from the beginning, and now there are five more odd numbers than even numbers. At this point, the very best we can do is a 2 odd / 4 even number combination. Even that won't happen because up comes another even number.
After the fifth ball is drawn:

There are now:
25 Odd and 19 Even Balls
This is looking kind of close to fishy! There are now SIX more odd numbered balls in the ball machine and we can't seem to get ONE! And now, the almost impossible happens. Yet another even numbered ball is drawn!
After the sixth ball is drawn:

There are now:
25 Odd and 18 Even Balls
What happened? Were the odd numbered balls stuck to the side of the ball machine? Did somebody put some weights in them? Were there any odd numbered balls in there? Fix! Fix! These are the type of questions we'd be asking if this happened very often. Well, relax. It doesn't happen too often. As a matter of fact, in Florida's 6 out of 49 game, it only happened twice in 275 drawings. Indeed, it had only been calculated to happen twice!

Does an all odd number combination (01-05-13-17-21-35) and a 3odd/3even type of number combination (03-08-12-19-24-33) have an equal chance of being drawn? No!
The calculations prove it does not!

The odds, as played out in the ball machine, prove it does not!

Actual drawing results prove it does not!

Do you still want to rest on the idea that "every number combination has an equal chance of being drawn on any given night"? If you want to have more opportunities of winning, you won't. And, if you play the odds, you will have more opportunities of winning!
