There are three Number Groups Colored Red, White and Blue
GROUPFORMAT COMMENTS
1(2) (2) (2) The Red, White, and Blue Number Groups break down all numbers in a game into three groups as evenly as possible.

Formats show how many numbers are drawn from each number group. The 1-3-2 Format, for example, has one number in it from the red number group. It has 3 numbers from the white number group and two numbers from the blue number group. You can see the number group breakdown for your state game(s) by clicking on game types.

As shown by the Formats, there are only 28 different ways 6 numbers can be drawn from three number groups.

Every number combination drawn will fall into one of the Formats shown. The first thing you must do to win is play the Format that's drawn next.

Choosing the right format to play is not that difficult because not all Formats are created equal. Certain Formats are consistently drawn much more than others.

As you will see, the more you balance your number combinations over the full range of numbers in the game, the more you will play the types of number combinations being drawn the most. The 2-2-2 Format is more balanced than the 6-0-0 Format.

All six number games have these same Formats. However, the number breakdown is different for different sized games.
